BROCHURE DESCRIBES PULSED UV LIGHT
EXPLAINS ADVANTAGES OVER
MERCURY CURING LAMPS
A new, 4-page brochure that describes the
advantages of pulsed UV light for a wide range of curing
applications, rather than continuous mercury UV lamps, is
being offered by Xenon Corporation of Wilmington,
Massachusetts.
The Xenon Pulsed UV Light Brochure describes
the advantages of using this technology which generates
ultra-high peak power UV pulses that produce rapid and complete
cures at low temperatures. The primary benefits of pulsed
UV light include: less energy consumption, deeper penetration,
faster cures, process flexibility, greater safety, and higher
throughput.
Providing an illustration of why pulsed UV
curing is better than continuous radiation, the Xenon Pulsed
UV Light Brochure highlights curing applications for optical
disc manufacturing, curing adhesives and wood coatings,
aseptic packaging, and the fabrication of medical devices.
Pulsed UV light is suitable for chemistries that absorb
light from 180 nm to 1000 nm.
